When it is recommended to delete nintendo id? Because there is this function anyway?
If you want a new username, or if you're going to sell your Wii U, I suppose.

It's just an option.
It's a good option imo, I'd love for every account system to offer it, instead of having to find a receptive support agent to do it for you.
It's often just not worth the effort asking for your account to be removed from their databases, easier to just not use it anymore, but it is your right in most EU countries for you to demand them not hold onto your information.
