Hello to all there seems to be a real lack of any kind of news on wiiu at the minute. Just snippets here & there. The machine could potentially be about in about 6-8 months time??? When do you think Nintendo will start to begin really pushing the wiiu at shows etc? The next big show is CES in Vegas in January but not sure if they will show then. When is Tokyo game show?

im not sure about these events, but i know one thing for sure, iwata said they will do the full reveal at E3 2012. meaning it won't launch before then, and increasing the chances that it will launch in september/november its annoying but its extremely likely.

Said it before, but I'm expecting a November release. That's when Nintendo likes to release their consoles, and it's a great choice since it's the time of the year when many big games are coming out. It's enough time after E3 for it to make sense.

I'm not too annoyed about it taking so long for a release, since I really want Nintendo to get it 100% right with the Wii U. I just wish we could get some more info about games, graphical capabilities, online features, etc. I don't want to wait all the way until June before we can get any significant information on it. I'm hoping Nintendo will start to release more information about the system throughout the first half of 2012, but I dunno really..

Hello to all there seems to be a real lack of any kind of news on wiiu at the minute.

It's not really a surprise. The Wii U is still a while away, and they have to make up for nearly 6 months of disappointment in the 3DS. Nintendo will more than likely have the focus applied to the 3DS and perhaps the Wii every now and then, all the way until possibly April. It should be then that the influx of Wii U news will possibly be similar to that of when it was unveiled (it was crazy house in here at E3, from what I remember).
