So I want to use Hulu.com on my Wii U, but I'm not a Hulu Plus member. I just want to use the normal Hulu because it has a lot of free movies/shows that Youtube does not have.

However, I am not a Hulu Plus member so I can't use the Wii U Hulu Plus app. And when I go to Hulu.com on the Wii U's internet browser it won't let me access the site and I get a messege to use the app instead. But like I said, I just want to use Hulu, not Hulu Plus! How can I use Hulu.com on my Wii U?

Thanks!

Are you sure? This doesn't make sense to me since we can use other video streaming sites like Youtube on the Wii U's internet browser.

Yes, I am sure. Works the same when trying to view hulu using your mobile phone. You can only see snippets in that scenario. They want you on hulu plus.

You could possible use remote viewing software through your wii u browser to connect to your pc, that would obviously lag though. There is a paid service called play-on which gives you access to hulu.com material and many other streaming networks. Each provider has different licensing agreements with how they want their content consumed and distributed.

Youtube doesn't have any paid subscription system.

Bah that's so irritating. Guess I'll have to connect my laptop to my smart TV and view it that way. Big pain and I'd rather watch through my Wii U but oh well.

Hulu plus on any device requires you to have a subscription. Roku,PS3,WiiU and everything else.

I wasn't looking to use Hulu Plus, just regular Hulu. Apparently you need a Hulu Plus account to even view non-Plus content on anything but a PC. Very annoying.
