I can't wait for these games. (Grand)Strategy games are my favorite genre. It's basically all I play on PC these days.
Anyone looking forward to Civ:BE and Galactic Civs III?

I'm absolutely looking forward to Civ. I've been wishing for a sequel to Alpha Centauri for a looooong time.
GC3, though... not so much.

I've never played Galactic Civilizations, So I can't comment there. However, Civ:BE looks AMAZING so far.
On the topic of Grand Strategy, I'd suggest Crusader Kings 2. So good, even though I suck at it.
Games that refuse to use Gameplay effectively to do anything are like films that refuse to use cinematography in film to do anything.

I haven't played Civ V for a very long time, but have recently started again in anticipation of BE. I really like what they're doing with the affinities and those unit designs. They're just great.
I've never played Galactic Civilizations, So I can't comment there. However, Civ:BE looks AMAZING so far.

Yeah, Crusader Kings 2 is great. I have spend about 26 hours on it so far. I still favor Europa Universalis IV, but I have taken a little break from both games right now. Paradox really does make fantastic games though.
