Wii U version Bringing New ‘n’ Tasty to the Nintendo Wii U is not without its own set of challenges. While it’s true we were initially concerned with the limited storage space on the 8GB ‘Basic’ Wii U model, we’re happy to say that recent fan feedback has assured us this is not as widespread an issue as we first thought. Unfortunately, this is not the only technical issue we face on Wii U. Many of the optimizations currently being worked on for the PS3 and PS Vita versions will be used on the Wii U version, so we’re dependent on those being completed. There is also specific functionality in Unity that isn’t currently supported on Wii U. All in all, we have considerable work to do on this particular version. We remain invested in the Wii U platform, and reiterate our desire to have Abe on a Nintendo console. Link: http://www.oddworld....te-new-n-tasty/

I was reading that story a day or so ago and was a bit confused as to their problem with storage. Anyone with a basic Wii U most certainly has a harddrive hooked up and I'd bet the majority of  Wii U owners own the black 32 gig sku.

Glad that fan feedback calmed them down a bit.

Yeah that seems to not be the problem now. They are just having trouble optimizations and unity and such... so I guess we will see
