Time for people to relive a classic.

Fun fact. I think this whole game was 2D but used certain means of giving a 3D look. I know how this works, but it's really really hard to explain.

the gba actually supports 3d to a certain degree, it used the same (or very similar) technology the snes did but the chips were built into the gba instead of the cart. I think its called mode 7 or something to give it that look?

I was racking my brain today trying to remember what that was called. Yes, mode 7. Thanks!

Totally gonna buy this tomorrow, even though I bought Superstar Saga and Yoshi's Island months ago and still haven't played them on the Wii U.

I seriously thought that this was the Super Nintendo Mario Kart.  It bugged me so much because I'm certain that came out months ago.

Also, I have this from the Ambassador program.  I don't care about it on the 3DS so I'm not going to care about it on the Wii U.

GBA could do 3D just very limited like SNES. Mode 7 was about rotation and scaling using more than 1 background.
