Reggie Fils-Aime has confirmed that we'll be hearing about the Wii U throughout 2012 and not just during E3. This suggests there'll be at least a few smaller press briefings where further details are shared, and I'd imagine there'll be Wii U-focused Nintendo Direct broadcasts too.
