hehe. marketing genius. though, if this is true I am sure it will be based off popular characters. Luigi, Mario, Princess, Toad (if we get his amiibo) Kirby, Yoshi, Donkey Kong

Will be compatible in 2015 sometime in an update.
In Captain Toad, players collect items while making their way through over 70 puzzle-filled levels. To play Toadette, players must first unlock her; while the game begins with both characters, Toadette is whisked away along with the power star and must be saved.
Certain levels are played as Toad, then Toad gets whisked away and you play some levels as Toadette.

Didnt know that when having 3dWorld also unlocks Capt toad as playable character

It doesn't. CT has some special levels that are based on SM3DW levels. Captain Toad can't jump, remember?

Started playing this yesterday and what a lovely game it is, a nice change of pace and skills after finishing Dragon Age
