The anime cutscenes in story mode are pretty good. The game also has backstory for those who didn't play previous games. I didn't watch the backstory, I just saw it was there.
Ultimately I am new to BlazBlue. The game isn't that hard to learn. Basically, in my opinion, it plays like a highly anime Street Fighter, where every character I've played is seemingly as strong and as slow as Ryu. Meaning, I've found certain Street Fighter characters to be faster and weaker than the characters in this game.
The attacks themselves are interesting. It isn't uncommon for a character to have a robotic suit they use, or wield a sword. Dare I say it, this game is even more fireball crazy than Street Fighter as well.
Again, I am new to the series. But I have no real regrets essentially taking a risk and paying full sticker price on this game.
My score: 8.4/10
You might say, well you have 10 new games. Why are you just creating a thread on this one? Because I think this game is worth getting into, is why.
