Disney working on an unannounced Wii U game

An artist working for Disney Interactive has shared a handful of screenshots from an upcoming unannounced Wii U game. The artwork is shared with permission, so we’re getting a look at characters and enemies we could see in a game headed to Wii U in the future. The art style is very distinct and is reminscient of small tabletop figures that people paint and make scenes with. No information about the gameplay or anything else was shared, but based on the art style alone you can consider us intrigued.

Check out more on the artist’s original blog.

These medieval fantasy characters are from an upcoming game for the Wii U (shown with permission). The character designs are by me (with the exception of the dwarf and dark skull knight). Environmental art and design created by me as well. They are not shown, but have a small sample of them with the character stands.

Also, not sure if related to Ryudo's thread or not.. check his out here: http://thewiiu.com/t...ced-wii-u-game/

I smell an Amiibo game...

I do not like those character designs. At all.

It looks like a chinese Disney knock off in terms of style. :V

Reminds me a bit of fantasy life

Perhaps a Wii U /3ds cross platform amiibo type game... interesting though.

NFC figures definitely. Sorc's Fantasy Life idea is interesting, but I'm pretty sure the dev team doesn't exist anymore, a la Sora after KI:U. I'm guessing something like Disney Infinity, obviously, but not sure how exactly given Disney Infinity exists and there's little reason to change anything.

Some people always have a cellphone on them. I'm so awesome I always have a 3DS.

Those characters look like they were made with some kind of online character-creator.

Disney and Ninty should team up more often

Why is their bottom half so skinny compared to their top half?
