Rumor: Warner Bros. to release LEGO toys-to-life game this year

According a report from VideoGamer, Warner Bros. is working on a LEGO toys-to-life game that will release later this year. Traveller’s Tales is said to be making the title that will launch alongside compatible LEGO figures.

 

Assuming VideoGamer’s article is accurate, that means we’d be seeing three big LEGO games this year – LEGO Jurassic Park and LEGO Marvel’s Avengers being the other two. It’d also mean that Skylanders and Disney Infinity would have a new competitor.

I can honestly say I didn't see this coming, but it's pretty obvious in hindsight. Not sure if I like it. The Minifig series is already at $4, sets have been going up ever so slightly, and only certain figures that aren't very well comparatively priced? I dunno about this.

Of course the nfc figure you will have to build yourself... haha. Actually it would be kind of cool if you had to build the blocks onto the base/nfc chip. You can interchange parts between figures you own for the heck of it.

$4? I thought that was just Canada tax.O.o

 

I really wish that I had the money for Lego, as right now a bunch of Canadian places are doing all kinds of killer deals. Add this to the mix and EGAD
