It's rumoured for april 1st. This seems pretty legit, but I'm taking it with a grain of salt. It's about time for a New Direct, and they usually air on wednesdays. And yes, this might very well be a April's Fool's Joke.

 

What doesn't seem legit is the fact that N64 games will be upscaled to 720p and will be made widescreen. That would be a big task for Nintendo.

 

Pokemonrumbleworld.com has apparently been patented by Nintendo though

so probably BS EU direct, Also some of the supposed announcment would make more sence in a global direct, unless Nintendo is releasing regional versions.

They always announce a Nintendo Direct 1 day before it's aired. So them not announcing it 2 days away is pretty expected.

Although it's most likely fake anyway. BUT we should be expecting a direct in April at least

Nintendo doesn't have any more deals with DeNa to announce, otherwise they would have said so already.

And if the "leak" is talking about what was announced, Fall is the time period already chosen and talked about since Nintendo announced it would close Club Nintendo.

Oh well, I will miss it anyways, since it starts at the same time that I have to leave for my Wednesday night bible study group at my church. Which means that I can watch the recording on April 2, 2015. I am predicting that the Treehouse presentation is Splatoon, since it comes out in May 2015.

Treehouse live is back. And I won't be able to watch most of it. Oh well. I'm really hoping some of the leaks are real. Wouldn't mind seeing Paper Mario and Star Fox on WiiU, and I'd like to see some 3DS releases and dates. IIRC, kinda dry now.

I assume tree house live will cover Splatoon in depth, which is good. Almost makes it better then having a full video direct, the live treehouse is a great way to present and create interest too.

So.. the rumors might acdtually be true now. April 1st 3:00pm (albeit for Germany, and not the US) was confirmed by it. We'll see. If they show a proper Paper Mario and Star Fox I'll be a happy man until E3.
