depending on what Indie games come to the system might get me to actually purchase it. would love to see F-Zero GX 3D though... not giving up on that dream.

Great news but I wonder why just the New 3DS. That's a big install base they're missing out for the original 3DS. Could be up to 60-70 million by the end of its life. Whereas the New 3DS will probably be less than 10 mil.

Maybe old 3ds not powerful enough or Nintendo want New 3ds owners to feel it was a justified purchase and of course more exclusives mean more sales. Old 3ds probably not being manufactured anymore too.

I'm guessing the more power thing. That was the reason behind The Binding of Issac being a NN3DS+NN3DSXL exclusive

Well, this is pretty awesome. I was just thinking not too long ago how much of a bummer it was that I couldn't make 3DS games if I learned the Unity engine, but this is fantastic news. ^^
