With Splatoon launching on May 29, Nintendo has begun ramping up the hype train for both United States and Europe. The Splatoon Twitter account has done an excellent job of providing more information about the game, but a new Nintendo Direct style presentation will help fill in the blanks for other information. Both Nintendo of Europe and Nintendo of America have tweeted about the Direct presentation on Nintendo’s Twitch channel, so it seems likely that the presentation will be the same in both regions.

For various timezones, the main event is taking place at 7am PST/ 10am EST / 3pm UK / 4pm CET

those 3 1 hour demo's. and free DLC, though the extra DLC may be making up for lack of countent and Nintendo caring enough to deliver quality balance and design. Wonder if Nintendo's servers are ready?

I think that is the point of the global testfire demo , 4 vs 4. To get the servers in shape.
