When will they come? Is there an embargo on them? Quite regularly reviews show up a week prior to launch.

I think most Nintendo games have a review embargo to the day or the day before they release.

Why didn't you ask that question back in November about SMASH?

smash had all the features that this game is missing

It's only at 81 on metacritic. Fairly good, although based on the extreme hype some people were generating, I was kinda expecting high 80s.

Still worth buying though.

Yes, like the ability to play as Samus, and getting to use an umbrella to beat up your opponent.

Of course, it's legitimate as it is their opinion and view however they make it seem like a game breaker and are apparently in the minority on that.

Spoiler alert, they gave it the best score "Loved".

This is their argument "There’s also no way to party up with a group of friends and remain on the same team from match to match, no way to set up a private match or customize arena settings, no way to adjust weapon and gear selections between matches... hell you can’t even exit the multiplayer game lobby at all once it’s begun searching for other players, unless you completely power off your Wii U. What, really?" This was their negatives about the game, that and not being able to communicate between people.

i do agree with the reviews that there is a lack of content and it's kind of annoying that we have to wait until august to get the full game

 

But i dont think it is a bad decision by nintendo to do it this way really. Their logic will probably be that they don't want to delay any more games and have nothing else due to come out right now, so they probably just want to get it out there for people to play right now.

TBH that person that gave the game a 6 probably wasn't interested in the game to begin with. Of course there's a lot of things Splatoon could do better, but if a few drawbacks make you give a game that low a score, you probably weren't the most excited to play it in the first place. Those are just ways they can justify their score.
