Update: I’m not too sure that this is really an indication of anything, but the game has apparently been pulled from the “future releases” section of the Wii U eShop. Make of that what you will!

Devil’s Third was recently dated for August in both Japan and Europe. In North America, however, Nintendo has been keeping quiet. That continued into E3 2015, where Nintendo of America’s senior director of corporate communications Charlie Scibetta had nothing to say about it.

When asked about the status of Devil’s Third last week, Scibetta only noted: “I don’t have anything for you on Devil’s Third. Sorry.”

No one seems to have a clear idea about what’s going on with Devil’s Third in North America. Let’s just hope that we hear something soon.

If this gets pulled froma the US or digital only Nintendo can eat a phallus and I am not giving them any money for the rest of this year. NOA are Fother Muckers.

This game seems perfect for the American audience to me, wouldn't make sense for them to not release it even as an eshop title.

I wonder if another publisher is picking this up for NA. If that is the case I wonder who it would be.

Gut instinct from what Tomonobu is implying on facebook.....

we will be getting the game in North America. I think we are going to get a direct for the game very soon. I asked a bunch of questions like number of online modes, voice chat, length of campaign, 30fps or 60fps... etc and he said that he cannot discuss those now (under NDA) but we'll see them soon.

I am thinking the same thing too that we may be getting a direct on this game here in NA and a release date soon.  I am very looking forward to playing this and to add to my collection.

Why would they think it'll do better in Europe than the US? Only a few games do.

NOE is just good about these things and NOA has sucked ever since Reggie took over in terms of giving gamers what they want. Reggies was great at marketing but out of touch with fans.
