Is Shovel Knight coming to Super Smash Bros? According to a new listing by Spanish retailer XtraLife, it appears so. The Spanish retailer has listed a Shovel Knight amiibo for the standard price of 14.95 Euro for a release on the 27th of November. Interestingly enough, the amiibo is part of the Super Smash Bros amiibo series, indicating that the character is likely to come to Super Smash Bros as DLC.

This news would not necessarily be a massive surprise. Earlier this year, Nintendo launched the Super Smash Bros Fighter Ballot, which allowed players to cast their vote for which character they would like to see added as a fighter to Super Smash Bros. It could be very likely that Shovel Knight had enough support on the ballot to be added in as DLC.

Hmm, well I think if it was real that NIntendo would be the ones to do the reveal.. and leave them under NDA until then.

Shovel Knight Amiibo is coming, but not for SMASH. It will be used for Shovel Knight Wii U, 3DS and future Yacht Club games.
