Today, ATLUS announced SMT IV:FINAL for the Nintendo 3DS.

Famitsu published a teaser image with the word "deicide" apparently being prominent.

Full text: "Are humans just tools for deicide?"

A "Shinjuku Disaster" livestream is due to be held on October 11 at 19:00 GMT +9:00 on Niconico where more information will presumably be detailed.

Additionally: This is not a remake of the original, it is a separate game.

There is, however, an "ATLUS BEST Collection" edition that will be sold starting 10/8/15.

Maybe the game might be better than SMT IV at this rate? But I'll try not to get my hopes up with ATLUS this time around, at least SMT is still alive.

Additionally, there's apparently a better AI system and you're now allowed to choose what party members go into battle with you.

As more info is coming out, I'm actually starting to get a bit hyped for this game. It may end up turning out better than IV. We'll probably end up getting it before Persona 7 releases and possibly before Fire Emblem Idol Festival.
