Well forsome reason Megaman hasn't adapted into our world as much as it should.Mario,Zelda and even sonic have adapted themselves into tis gen without a problem, and yet megaman seems to be exactly as he was in the old days .But yea it's pretty sad that capcom is ruining him considering he made capcom what it is...
srry but i still see street fighter as being a way more important franchise then megaman as well as molding capcom into what they are today. though i guess megaman falls right under street fighter

Yes but the street figter franchise formula is exactly the same as it was in the arcade and considering it's a fighter, there's not much you can do.Megaman has depth, story, and everything awsomeExactly lain sum'd it up pretty well this is exactly what i ment

Think of it like Mario and Zelda.Sure mario is fun but if you want the full gaming experience then you play zelda.Same with megaman

Other than that the series has remained the same for almost 25 years. Street fighter one and street fighter 4 play nothing alike and of course megaman has a better story as fighter's dont really need stories as the they rely on solid gameplay way more.
Though i guess it would be pretty pointless to argue which game is better especially when both games are in two completely different genre's.
But when it comes down to it im almost positive that street fighter has had more of a cultural impact then megaman and also have made capcom more money.
and also when it comes down to it the street fighter series is proabably played alot more then megaman

Ok, maybe I overreacted. But still Capcom definetly can treat the franchise better than they have been.
Well it is the 25th Anniversary of the franchise. If Capcom does absolutely nothing outside of this appearance in Street Fighter X Tekken this year, you can return to this thread.

However, Bad Box Art Megaman. Come on. That's just freakin' great. I lol'd when I saw it.
I have my Ambassador 3DS. A Zelda 3DS. Someday I will have a Japan 3DS.

But yeah they have put zero effort to update and adapt the Megaman series..... then again Capcom isn't one for change.... I mean they practically sold the same StreetFighter several times , on multiple occasions. And Resident evil has changed lots but they always do two or three in a row the same (except for RE5..oh wait Mercenaries )
