I'm assuming this will go on the 3DS. There might be a Vita possibility too.

True..but it does suit it better on a 3ds along with it's competitor of Professor Layton(crossover of the century btw)

Well that's the thing, all Ace Attorney games have been done on the DS, but so far the platform for this has not been announced, and the game should technically be playable on the Vita. It's definitely a shoe-in for the 3DS, but I wouldn't count out a multiplat. We'll see though.

true,I am just saying that there are some games that just fit well with a nintendo console and on other platforms it just looks stupid.I mean look at games like cooking mama,it somehow works on a nintendo console instead of the psp.But yea we'll see,I heard that ace attorney is also going to get a live action movie

Awww, HELL YES!!!!!!!

I prefer the Ace Attorney series to be a Nintendo exclusive because that is what it's known for, but I also wouldn't want Vita players missing out on this awesome series.

Well... they could always, you know, just buy a 3DS.

Yea, I was actually going to say that, but I thought it would give me an image of being a fanboy or somewhat of an ass.
And you know, certain people are sensitive to that kind of stuff.

And now that I have said it, I better hide.

I never played an Ace Attorney game! I would really want to but I dont know what it is about. And who knows when that movie is going to come out. And it kinda looks like it is Japanese so is only coming out in Japan?

Don't see why it wouldn't be localized. I guess if Layton vs. Ace Attorney bombs, it might not.

I think he's talking about the movie.

Oh if that's the case, I think there's still a chance it'll come to the West - Just not in theatres. It's directed by Mike Takashi, and some of his films have made it out of Japan. It's just really unlikely.

Ace Attorney is sort of 50/50 on localisation (AA5, I mean).

Ace Attorney Investigations 2 didn't because it failed outside Japan... even in Japan it probably still failed compared to what they hoped for. Despite having one of the bess AA final bosses ever.

Professor Layton VS Ace Attorney has a high chance no matter what. Apart from both having localisation in previous releases many times, it also scored highest in Level-5 America's poll. They know people outside of Japan want it...

They want it bad...

They want to make love to a copy...

Um no, that is not the reason.

Capcom decided against localizing it because they didn't think it was worth the effort at the time - This is mostly due because of the 3DS, as Capcom felt that no retailer would bother to stock their game for a "dying" system.

Oh fail

I just read that sentence and it makes no sense whatsoever. AAI2 can't fail outside Japan if it doesn't release outside of Japan :P

Also, Capcom's reason is BS.
