So I finally got a TV:

http://www.amazon.co...=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

It has "DivX" on it, apparently. So I'm trying to get it on the TV, but... I have no idea how :S I have it installed on my laptop, but I just can't find it on my TV :(

Any help please?

So it doesn't say how to use it in the manual.

I think you need to put a file on a drive that is in DivX format also you can play it on the tv. It may also be beneficial if you called tech support for help.

I think I might have figured it out... I think... Well, I clicked on "register device" on my laptop DivX, and then it said to get the registration code from the device, so I spent ages trying to find it. Eventually I found it on movie options, and I entered it. Then It said that I had to play a 15 second video (or so) on my TV to finish the registration. So I did, and it seems that nothing has changed :S

Divx is like a video streaming format. You probably have already activated it.

Yeah, Divx is a codec... it allows you to play movie files (some of which arew coded with Divx). Furthermore Divx allows for subtitle code so yuo can have a subtitle file in with your movie file and it will recognize it.. then you'll be able to turn it on or off. Crazy . I didnt get it at first either (i have it on my PS3) and the Divx site has all this stuff about Divx on demand and stuff.... but that isnt what that does.... Stupid Divx doesnt have its stuff together. They are not smart.

Ive read about having files (movies) on your computer and accessing them with the Divx device (your case a TV) wirelessly through the internet but i havent figured that out yet... doesnt seem to work but im not sure. Divx isnot user friendly always
