I hear a lot of people complaining that gaming companies aren't giving you what you. People say Nintendo don't give gamers what they want. People say the next Xbox and PS4 will not give gamers what they want. I have a simple question. What do gamers want? I don't know what gamers want. I'm not in everyone's head. When I see people posting or saying why don't they just give gamers what they want, it just makes no sense. Sometimes they name some ideas that should back their claim but not all gamers want that. Gamers as a whole don't know what they want.

So tell me what you as a gamer want from Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft?

I want a long lasting network and plenty of good exclusives.
Some innovation would be nice as well.
I'm not complaining though, because I haven't ever really been disappointed in the past.

I want it to be strong enough to compete with the next gen consoles. I want to have some great games and a good online infrastructure which will also hook up with the 3DS.

I want a good online service and interface.
Enough power to run the next gen engines
Third Party games
Great Classic 1st party Nintendo titles
New 1st Party ips,

That is what I want and and I believe is honestly what the majority of gamers want and the majority of the gamers including myself doesn't think of that as unreasonable considering other companies can do it they should be no reason Nintendo can't do it even if many people the majority seems to be Nintendo fans say its impossible.

I just want Nintendo to save Sega by buying them. That's all I want :(
Along with a NEW Jet Set Radio for Wii U.
But looking at Sega's financial status....

As a real gamer, I want everyone to shut the hell up and just deal with it. OR make your own games for your own satisfaction.

Either way, your complaints are invalid and are 95% of the time of low understanding.

... Not talking about you guys specifically, just the general gaming audience.

Trophy Cards are classy too! LOLZIGZAGOON

That was the whole point of me creating this. You are the person I was waiting for. We do not know what we want. No matter what we say we want, we will always want more. During the genesis and snes era, was there talk about needing better visual and more power? Was there complaints about the controllers? I have seen people say things like they want a powerful machine with no lag when online but say they don't want to pay a lot for it. How is that possible? Some of those people have a weak internet connection and think it is the game that is causing lag. I deal with people like that a lot. They play on my systems and say why don't you have any lag on a certain game but play that game on their system and there is lag. Well you using a low DSL account and I'm not. Like you said, we do not know what we want until the companies give it to us.

^ I disagree nobody knows what we want they just have a general idea of what the average consumer wants. From this point come's the innovation to try and feed you a better idea of what you already wanted plus what a company can uniquely offer to you. If companies knew what to give us we wouldn't have the virtual boy or the N-Gage. Consumers know what they want its just that you have to offer more than a simple standard of the personal gratification of getting what you wanted. Their need's to be the perfect balance between what someone's wants and what we can(the companies) offer them that they also didn't know they wanted. This is where things like gimmicks come from Ex. Wii-mote, Kinect , Eyetoy. In the gaming market today a successful "gimmick" is what can differentiate you from your competitors and make or break you in the long run.

Gimmicks have always been in the industry. Atari's home console was a gimmick. R.O.B. and the gun was a gimmick. In fact in the beginning home console were a gimmick cause it was giving you an Arcade experience at home. Just as PC's were a gimmick. A personal computer at your home. Just because something has become a standard don't mean at some point it wasn't a gimmick.

I want some really good, fun games. I want those games to be filled with story, and after seeing the Zelda HD demo, I want the games to look absolutely beautiful.
