Recently, my wii has had vertical lines slightly distorting the image. They makes the screen brighter as it scrolls along the screen. Does anyone know why this is or how to fix it?
Hi! I like shorts! They're comfy and easy to wear!

Are you using an older TV (non HD)?
if so, you may have switched to the 480p screen resolution, which your TV may not be able to display.
That's happened to me once when I forgot to switch back to 480i before plugging my Wii into my older CRT TV.
Hard to navigate the settings menu with the screen scrambled, but I think there's a way to reset it back to the original 480i resolution,
without having to go through settings. I Just don't know how.

That might not be your problem, but I hope it helps.

I dont actually know, but seeing as this is a thread about wii help, i have a question, does anyone know why, in the middle of the night, the spot where you put the disc in, randomly starts lighting up blue?

Your Wii is receiving a message. If you Wii is still plugged in to an outlet and you "turned it off" it will be on standby mode. Wiiconnect24 will still be active and you can still receive messages. It is a similar concept as the Nintendo 3DS' spotpass and streetpass where your system is in a low energy mode but information can still be obtained.

Yeah, you've done a great job so far, letting the Metal Heads destroy the palace.

When your Reset Button is Orange, or Green(Might be blue actually) WiiConnect24 can be used, if it's Red, it won't receive WiiConnect24 data.
To make it red, just hold down the power button until it goes red.
