Sorry but it runs crysis 3 pretty badly... 30 fps and 720p...
I think he says 30-40... not just 30...
If we consider that a 7950 amd card at 1080p in crysis 2 have the same performance 35-45 fps... We can say that its ok.. the 720p bothers me.. And its something that nintendo must look into it, because I dont care about the controller, they promised native 1080p and thats what I am expecting. Also EA got an old devkit... dont forget about dev4 and dev5...
In crysis 1, all graphic cards (gtx580, 7950, 7970, etc) have 28-40fps performance at 1080p... Crysis 3 is EVEN MORE demanding... are u sure about your original statement?

Better than PS360.
Yes off course, but no mindblowing difference. I thought 60fps were todays standards?

Crysis 1 is more power hungry than crysis 2. Crysis 2 was made with consoles in mind, so is crysis 3. My 1 year mid-high range card gtx 570 can run crysis 2 on 60fps ultra 1080p but not crysis 1 at 60fps and 1080p. And also I don't think 30-40fps is okay, it gets irritating and non playable for me, reason why skywardsword isn't my favorite zelda game. But that goes just for me, I can tell difference up to 300fps while some of my friends can't tell the difference bewteen 24 and 120 fps, so it goes from person to person.
For me, 720p and 30-40 fps is not acceptable as great.

not in all games.. Metro, crysis, battlefield, etc.. The standsrds are 30-40-50 fps due to heavy graphical engines. (I speak for pc games and 1 gpu.. NOT sli or crossfire)
Ah, so I guess it's good after all? lol

U right and wrong about crysis 2... When officially crysis 2 released, it was very light in every pc!! 60-80 fps all maxed out.. But few months after, EA released a DX11 patch with an additional a couple of gigabytes of new high ress textures (for dx11).
Now crysis 2 runs slightly better than crysis 1. For example, if a GTX580 can run 35fps at 1080p all maxed in crysis 1, crysis 2 is about 5-8 fps improved with the same settings and ress..
Now crysis 3 is created for the PC platform, just like crysis 1... That means it will be heavier than crysis 2... EA got only 1 dev kit by nintendo after E3, since, nintendo upgraded the dev kits with dev kit 3-4-5... Dev kit 4 had major improvements with much better performance from dev3... dev 5 is just a minor upgrade of dev4... So hopefully wii U can run crysis 3 about 15-20% better than the dev kit EA got...? who knows... Depends, if they indeed tweaked wii U gpu for UE4 as they said they did... then crysis 3 is a toy for wii U.
EA allready said that there is ONLY 1 dev kit in a european based studio of theirs... and it is not a recent one its dev2 or 3..
EA revealed something though it that nobody noticed it... If crysis 3 runs in par with pc's that means Wii U runs dx11... ?

That would be pretty stupid of Crytek they could be missing out on a lot of $$$ not bringing it to wii u
It could, but rumors have it they do not have the resources to make a Wii U version. It could be that the game is actually coming to the Wii U but do not want to say anything about it.

Don't have the resources ?? isn't Crysis published by EA of all people ? sounds like an excuse to me. I hope they mean it's because the game is already in development, but even then it still wouldn't make sense because it should be a easy port.It could, but rumors have it they do not have the resources to make a Wii U version. It could be that the game is actually coming to the Wii U but do not want to say anything about it.
I remember reading somewhere that the devs behind Darksiders 2 got it up and running on the U in a couple days.

Resources don't enable it. You need teams ... and Crtyek has all of them fully used. A small tech team only made a level for testing obviously.
