I was just browsing through 9gag, when this gag pops up on scene, and lets just say I need new shorts...





What do you guys think about this? Would you buy this if Nintendo ever released it? And if they release it, I could see them using the Wi-Fi for multiplayer like an actual DS... either way, DISCUSS!

I really doubt it would look like that if it does happen. But it's definitely possible. I don't think I'd buy it... I'm comfortable with the DS screen size, although I do have the one for Gamecube.

Uhhh.... It wont look any good.... You would have to upscale it and it wont look pretty I'll tell you that. It will look all pixleated and well... Gross.... It worked on the gameboys because it was using sprites but with three dimentional objects it wont work.

It really depends. Back in the older days, it didn't matter as much because everything was SNES/NES, and that looks good on just about any TV.

But the DS is a whole different animal for the most part. The attachment would need a very good way to upscale DS games to keep them from looking like crap.

However, if they did do what my previous statement says, I'd be all for it.

It seems unlikely to me that we'd see something like that. DS games would probably look horrible on a large screen and I don't think there'd be any simple way to upscale DS games.

as for bad graphics on a huge screen, i bet some software blending can make it nicer, but its still going to be a bit... wierd
a better and more possible concept would probably be using your 3ds and connecting to the wiiu to play with the top screen or use it almost like the gamepad, different controls of course

Well there is a DS eluminator for the Wii Homebrew and it doesn't look nearly as bad as I though the games would.

I wouldn't buy it. I never liked the Super Game Boy when it was out. For me, if I want to play a Gameboy game (or in this case DS) , I want to play it because it is portable.
