i have no clue how they did this but its pretty awesome. i think this will be quite revolutionary, hopefully it won't hurt the 3DS though

Well, if the technology isn't that much more expensive than current 3DS screens, maybe Nintendo will improve the system at some point.
yh maybe

yh maybe
The only problem is that they'd have to offer it for free to current 3DS owners if they decided to put that in, which would have them take a hit in sales.

not necessarily they could make it a redesign a few years down like the DSI

That'd work for me. Doubt I'd buy it unless my current one screws up though.

but if it is cheep and portable and well for video's. then it could get enough ground to have nintendo make another 3ds based off of the new 3d screen tech

If what i said was the case, it would make game development for the 3DS much harder because they would have to modify the 3D effect to allow their games to work on both the original 3DS and the new one.
Wow, i don't make a lot of sense
Im just taking a guess, nothing i usually say is right

And they've missed their release deadlines multiple times before.
Let's see.

I extremely doubt that they could fix the angle issues with an update, it would seem that they would have to modify the hardware rather than just simply updating the existing hardware.

Why do you think so? The 3ds's gpu outputs two images. The only thing they have to change is the screen. I promise that it won't be a problem.

I'm just making a guess, I'm not that great at technical stuff.
But do tell me more, what do you mean by "changing the screen"?

Basically replacing the screen the 3DS uses now with the new one.
