So I figured I'd make this thread cause I am a huge AC fan and I wouldn't doubt it they make one for the Wii U considering we got one on the GC, Wii, DS and soon the 3DS! So I figured I'd throw around a few ideas.

My ideas:
- Allow us to have up 2/3 towns and with each town would come a character
- Allow us to visit our friends towns online and get our own home there, once we have a home there we should be able to have a list of towns on each different character of which towns we have houses to.
- Have a list of all of your friends on the Nintendo networks towns and characters
- Create permissions such as password protected towns, open and doorbell (player must ask to come in) to a friends town
- Sandbox mode, allow for us to build the town ourselves instead of it already being reconstructed and us just moving into the town
- Allow for us to build bridges and on the cliff edges build down into the lower piece of land
- Pick or construct the entire home out of smaller pieces of homes ex. one story exterior wall and you could place them together and one you have a connect exterior wall and a door it is considered a house that you can place into your world. You can also add in a roof and expand it later.
- More jobs, become a shop worker, a police officer where randoms come in and invade your town and solve crimes, farmer, florist
- Loading screen is you in the train with which ever character you chose to play with.
- Interface - one thing I hate about AC is the clunky interfaces, putting the interface in the Wii U game pad is great and using the stylist to design clothes, drag your items and write messages would be great!

Since the series began, I have always wanted simultaneous local multiplayer. But I really like all of you suggestions, and with a series like Animal Crossing the more that they add to the formula the better it gets.

That mini game doesn't even halfway compare to the real Animal Crossing. This thread is for a stand alone Animal Crossing game.

Maybe players that haven't been confirmed to stay in the village could live in the hotel until the owner of the server or town gives you permission to build a house there.

Also, another idea is that members of your town could be moderators and they can kick users ect. The owner must confirm them as mods first though.

They really need to blow out their online for a game like this. This and Mario Parties next installment needs to have online. Not just any online, a great online service.

The very first thing they should fix for the next game is to give us a reason to spend the money we earn in the game. Let's face it. We play until we found every single bug and fish to complete the museum. After that, we just make money. How cool is it to brag in front of your friends that you have 100 000 000 in the bank? Then, the game just loses all its charm, and I cant find a reason to play the game. And no way I'm spending 500 000 bells on an ugly Gracie bed. There should be more things to do with the money you earn in the game, or else it ruins it. Also, the villagers relationship system was a gimmick in AC: City Folk. In Wild World, when you become very close with a villager, he gives you a picture of himself with his motto. Why did they remove this in CF? I mean, this game is a real-time game. It HAS to have a good lifespan, or else it's screwed.
Even though I loved City Folk, it has some things to improve.

EDIT: I feel they're going the right way with AC 3DS...

I'd love the ability to choose which animals move into your neighborhood.


The sandbox idea is a must. That would be very fun.

New ideas:
- Write messages and type them with the Gamepad
- Put the mayor in the town hall(in sandbox mode you are the mayor)
- bring back the post office
- make a hotel where friends or random characters can visit your town
- be able to get a job at the hotel(delivering room service, making beds, cleaning rooms, checking people in, informing people, delivering news papers,ect.)
- More places to visit via bus or train.
- larger city
- Make cities with apartments so we can live in the city. (make apartments purchasable after we have paid off our rent)
- Get jobs in city places like the salon and be able to actually design the hair by straightener, curler ect.
- bring back nibbles!
- make an airport where we can visit different locations outside of our town. maybe even get a job at the airport as the pilot and using the gyroscope in the game pad to move the plane around to get passengers to there destination spot
- neighbors will decorate their towns for holidays such as Christmas or Halloween
- bring back islands and the boats

My Animal Crossing Wii U ideas

You wear a backpack if your a boy
You wear a hand bag if your a girl
This Is where you store all your items instead of in your pockets.Your tools are in a separate pouch you can upgrade them to silver tools or if you are given a gold tool it will replace it's ordinary version.There's a logo on screen showing how many item spaces are left in your bag.

There should be grass instead of just green areas.patches of grass can turn brown so you'll need to water them like flowers.

If you have more than one save file on the one game the others can play with you on the same console in split screen mode.The mayor or host (The Person using the Wii U controller) has to play on the Wii U Controller in this mode if more than 4 others are playing.You can choose to play on the Wii U controller anyway even in Single Player mode.

I'm very much looking forward to a Wii-u Animal crossing, however first i believe we dont need one for at least 2 more years (mid 2015), just so new leaf can be fully explored. With that, i like your ideas, here's a few things that i wish were different:

 

- When having multiple people visit your town, allow more than 2 people to be in your home.

- allow more than 4 gyroids to be "on"

- allow letters to be sent via wifi instead of having to be in there town.

- Hire a gardener to replenish all of the grass in your town. You could choose segments to reduce costs.

- Grass could get longer and you need to cut it yourself.
