On Gamestop's website
you could find 2 Wii U games with the release date being 11-13-12
is this the real release date? what do you think?

Sounds like the release date but don't get your 'hopes' up yet. It's proberly just a typo. It will proberly be released around that time, though.

It may or may not be correct but it's certainly plausible. The Wii launched around the same time and everything so far seems to indicate at an educated guess as November as the release month. GameStop may well have jumped the gun and posted something they shouldn't have or at the very least it may be a good indication of the time frame for the console release.

I doubt that Gamestop has this kind of info yet, but it would be cool to see that actually come to be the release date.

It's just a place holder like others say.There's noway gamestop of all places would have that kind of info without it leaking out on the net.

Why do you doubt that ? I'm not saying its true but it's entirely plausible they being the huge retailer they are.

Not neccessarily. It could be a place holder date but it could also have some truth in it. Again it's quite plausible that certain large retailers have some idea or certain info regards the release without it actually having leaked. Besides these dates just seem to have been listed very recently. If it is true Nd it does get leaked it could still happen. December 31st 2012 is a definte place holder date but November 13th could be but is also just as likely to be a real release date for the console or at least an indication of when it may be released.

Pretty sure the Wii had its own little nintendo show unveiling in september and it came out in November. Nintendo has a showing this september coming up so im pretty positive it will be November as well. The day im not too sure about.

I'd say the release date would be 11/18/12 (November 18, 2012). Reason(s) be:

• It's a Sunday, which is a big day for big Nintendo games (most of the time)
• The last two home console were released on the 17th/18th
• It's before Black Friday and the holidays

November 13 is a Tuesday, Nintendo releases consoles on Sundays.

I think it's all speculation by all of us at this point. Nintendo could certainly release a console on a Tuesday despite what they may have done in the past. These dates may also be place holder dates then again they may not be.

As I live in the UK I read that as the 12th Smarch 2012. Smarch weather is too lousy for me to go outside and buy one, and it's not fair on the delivery person either....
