Do you think Wii U will have the same problem Wii did at launch?

Where I live you couldn't find a Wii until 2009

As for the Wii U, I really don't know. Perhaps it will not sell like pancakes like the original Wii so they won't have the same shortage but who knows...

But honestly, the Launch title list isn't exactly "to die for" yet, so we'll see.

Hi, my name is Alph. I live on a planet named Koppai. I am famous for saving my planet from starvation. My best friends are Brittany and Captain Olimar, NOT Captain Charlie. I like surfing the KopNet and playing Kopetball.

I doubt it."NO ONE" saw the Wii selling the way it did when it launched. So the potential is there but we have to wait and see. It Wii U is one cool a$$ sexy machine.
I agree. The initial Wii popularity and demand came out of nowhere and even caught Nintendo by surprise. The Wii U will not have the same mass market casual gamer frenzy the Wii had. I'm sure it will do well but Nintendo will probably make enough to go around and the demand won't be at the same level as it was with the Wii.

But we should also know from the 3DS' initial launch that overestimating them can be just as dangerous. Initial sales of a system won't always flow like water like the Wii did. We simply have to wait and see.We should all know by now that underestimating Nintendo is dangerous. Wii U has every bit the same potential as Wii. I wouldn't be surprised at all if it oversells It's initial stock.

I don't know what it's like in the states or Japan, you guys probably have had the majority of the population exposed. Here, the last thing that was Wii U related on the TV was that time Peter Overton said "Oh look, it was shown at E3. Look forward to it."
And I think that Nintendo will have a hard time making the approach to the consumers that aren't so in the loop on video game technology.
Trophy Cards are classy too! LOLZIGZAGOON
