I'm thinking of using three games for a 3DS tournament. What is my plan? Well, let's say 16 people sign up. Round 1 would be Super Mario 3D Land. Whoever has the fastest time in a level wins. Round 2 would be Kid Icarus Uprising. We'll have an online match, etc.

I plan on doing after summer is over, and if necessary, maybe in December. I just want to ask what games would like in this tourney.

And, if this is popular, we can make it so every year are games that have been released in the last year. The only downside is that EVERYBODY has to own all the games in the tourney. So yeah. Any objections?

EDIT: IDEA NUMBER 2!

There will be six teams of four (last number depending on number of games, but if we include all of the above, it's 4). One player will be Mario Kart, the second will be Icarus, etc. What do you think?

I don't know why, but I want to make a 3DS tournament, not a Kid Icarus tourney and a SM3DLand tourney, etc. Oh well, that's just me being a jerk.

I like the Idea but I agree with Crackkat I think we should have different tourneys like a Mario Kart one a Kid Icarus Uprising one maybe a Street Fighter one

If you do a big tournament without NSMB2, because it is too recent and I don't plan on picking it up until way after I pick up a Wii U, I am totally in. I will have to start practicing. Should be fun.

mario kart 7 would be a good addition too. since it has online multiplayer we could make a group for competitive wii u forum games you might want to consider it lol

First of all, it isn't a major 3DS title. Second, how can we use it in the tournament? There's a reason Zelda isn't here.

Well, you said that you would see who got the best time in Super Mario 3D Land. Sonic's all about speed-running.
