its small little changes that people will eventually take for granted that really make the difference cos in the end it really is handy to use a touch screen.

this also proves the online system will be good enough for this kind of flexible messaging system and features on par with xbox live. that should put to rest any worries that miiverse was the full extent of messaging on wii u

i know that sounds biased but they have so many sources to borrow ideas from you know o it has to be prtty easy for them.

i find it really interesting that they took the more forum like approach to online console gaming makes it seem much more social

I can see why, typing on the "GamePad" would be much easier than on a normal controller.

This is the reason I think the Wii U will be like a pc-console. It can play MMORPG because the touch-screen and now is like the online games in pc, you can chat without pausing the game. The Wii U is too awesome!

I have to agree with the concept, as long Nintendo doesn't gimp it with censorship. Is that optional for 3rd party titles? If it's console-wide then the entire communication system is screwed up.

there IS cross game chat in fifa, madden , etc. you can chat using a tab in the controller screen

it needs to be a continuous application on the system itself, not just a game dependent thing. If they don't say anything about it during there press conference in september, then it will probably hold me off from buying one atm.

i want it too. but swaying u from buying thhe system thats a little sad. they have a messaging system video chat in game chatrooms etc if they dont have cross game chat idc because its just another way for my friends list to bug me lol

Touch-screen definitely makes it better than using the D-Pad like you would with the 360!

i honestly think thats pathetic when people dont like playing psn because of parties tho. plus ps3 has more exclusives . owell i guess people like the 360 . i own one and its ok , but its the worst console purchase inhave ever made. so bland
