A leaked letter has revealed that, in regards to Assassin’s Creed 3, Ubisoft is:
…currently in the process of creating a complementary development team that will begin working on post-launch episodic content to continue the Game of the Year experience that Assassin’s Creed 3 will undoubtedly deliver.
That’s right. An entire team focused completely on the development of downloadable content. It’s an interesting approach that could either add a ton of value to the game, or just further the trends to extract as much money as possible from gamers. I hope it’s the former, but I’m worried it’ll turn out to be the latter.
