It’s expected that the Wii U will launch in Japan and North America in November, then Europe and Australia in December. But according to a report from Lingsen — a company that worked with Nintendo to develop the motion control aspect of the Wii U’s GamePad — the release was originally planned for the third quarter of 2012. This means the Wii U would have been available before the end of September. It could be argued that that’s still a possibility, but I doubt it. I expect a mid-late November release to be the earliest possible time.
