Actually, i dont think that will be on 2013, all nintendo's Wii u game trailers says: Fall 2012. or just 2012. So, the will be a game before the console? NO!

It doesnt mean that it will, it just means an analist thinks so, and i'd have to disagree (Plus i ALWAYS Liked Morgan Webb better than Adam Sessler)

All other Home Platforms launched in time for the Holiday Season and they seemed to do just fine.

lol sessler you hated the wii u in the first place and now you want it to be delayed? lol no its not happening marketing materials are out for the wii u already so expect early november or late october release. also if released in late october the wii u will get the ird party games at the same time. which is probably going to happen.
sessler has always been trying to say ridiculous things lol.

He didn't say it was factual, he's just doing some form of industry analysis, and a rather poor job of it at that to be honest...

Nintendo would be insane to delay the Wii U to 2013. AC3, Black Ops 2, FIFA and all these games will be releasing around the expected Wii U launch of November, if it was to be pushed back to 2013 then I really doubt anyone would wait to buy the Wii U versions of said games. Not to mention Darksiders 2 and Batman Arkham City which are already arriving horribly late on the Wii U, 2013 would pretty much kill those two titles' success.

OK, so the rationale is that since there are games coming out around christmas, it's good to not launch a console then, because people would buy the games instead of a console, since games are cheaper...? By the same logic, you should try to avoid releasing any game around Christmas, since your game would have to compete with all the other games releasing around Christmas...

Sessler has really not paid attention properly.

These claims are coming because usually Sony and Microsoft will push their new console 24/7. Nintendo post-E3, we haven't heard a single thing directly from them. Now tabloid journalists like to pick on scenarios and manipulate it to make their point sound as if it is backed up.

IF the Wii U wasn't launching this year, then why is there OFFICIAL PROMOTIONAL material already in game stores with retailers stating 2012. If it wasn't then they would outright say it's not because they would need to inform their investors.

The Investors would need to know first as it changes Nintendo's plan for that quarter.
