For those disillusioned with the Call of Duty franchise and its ability to regurgitate the same ideas, year after year, you might be happy to hear that one of the voice actors from the game has said that, “it’s going to be a very original experience”, and:
Treyarch has gone to the edge of the universe. This is going to be one of the first interactive experiences where you get to make decisions that affect the outcome. So you could very well be playing at home, and you go and meet a friend of yours, and you are going to have two different outcomes to the game. Everything has been upgraded, from the narrative to playability of the game itself.
Of course, it’s not like a voice actor would bad-mouth a project they’re involved with. But with the amount of polish the Call of Duty games tend to have, it’d be nice if that could be paired with something original. Hope, as you might expect, is what I’m holding to for the moment.
