In other news everyone who payed $30 for this game (I did) now is pissed off at Sega. And now onto the weather.
BTW I'm aware that there will be micro transactions, it is just it will still end up being cheaper than $30 though.

It's going to be free, but it's been suggested that it won't be completely free, and that you will have to pay to unlock all the features of the game (songs maybe?). This sounds a lot more probable honestly, and would probably end up costing more than the 3DS title, so I wouldn't be too mad.
