You Equip the letter that zelda gave you and show him itFantastic game! But I can't work out how to get the guard to let me up into death mountain, I have the Sun's Song and I tried to get a 'royal decree' by going to see zelda again but no luck...

I've been playing for about forty minutes now. I've just gone inside the Deku Tree. Any doubts I had about this game have vanished; It's awesome and I get the feeling that it's going to last me a very long time!

wonder if anyone has noticed all the newer effects of the game and noticed that the bridge to ganon is also different, but either way, the game come out very nicely

I'm glad that everybody is enjoying the game, but I remember when Nintendo released upgraded portable versions of older console titles just because, without treating it like the second-coming or as MAJOR release. The Game Boy Color enjoyed new Mario and Zelda games, while also getting old ones (Super Mario Bros. DX).
I feel Ocarina of Time is the most well-made adventure game ever, but I don't see the big deal. It came out over ten years ago. Let me know when they put out a new Zelda for their machine and I'll take notice.

I got OoT 3D, last week. I must admit, I haven't played it much at all. I'm still at the part where Link gets the green emerald, when you get done with the Deku Tree.

This game is AMAZING. If you have never played Zelda OoT buy this immediately. If you have played OoT before, still buy this, the visuals are great and the 3D effects are pretty awesome.

Of course no one said no, It's the best game of them all! If you don't have it yet, I strongly suggest that you get it.

Just finished the normal quest. It's actually better than the original IMO because of the framerate, graphics, and the framerate.
Oops, almost forgot to mention the framerate!
Anyway, is it just me or did the OoT3D credits' music come from a SSB game?
