So how will you know the Wii U is going to be a "big flop" before its even released?
Also, I would say its pretty clear its NOT a big flop - seeing a the top stores in the US have already run out of pre orders.
We don't know how big the allocation of stock is for pre-orders. Nintendo could have set it very low in order to make it appear the console is in huge demand but then later bring in more stock closer to launch. If the wii u has a poor launch with low numbers then its clear it will need a price drop in order to sell larger numbers but if it is geniunely in huge demand it will at the very least have a successful launch even if demand tapers off sharply in the new year. I don't know if Expansys will honour that price anyway but will see what happens. I'm just trying to get good value for myself, I certainly don't want it to flop. Huge sales means more great software is developed for it which is in everyone's interest apart from Sony and Microsoft that is.
Quidco has tracked at £6.37 (its 3% of the price before VAT is added). The credit card cashback will be £7.65. So £241 in total.
