I've read in a few websites that a lot of Rayman Legends single player will only be playable by Murphy and Rayman will be an AI.
Is that true? Because if this this is true then the single player will really really suck.

That's like playing only luigi in a Mario game and Mario being a computer character. It just doesn't make sense! That would reeeeeaaaaaalllllyyy SUCKĀ”!!!!!!!

I was once known here as KillerMario, but since I really like Banjo-Kazooie, I changed my display name to show them my respect :)

Yeah, you've done a great job so far, letting the Metal Heads destroy the palace.

They switch between rayman and Murphy regularly, level changes in real time

If that was true, then the game would suck, and it doesn't, you can control Murphy and Rayman at the same time
I am the foot. I do not like you. You smother me with socks and shoes, then step on me thousands of times a day.

We foot will rebel one day.

Character switching over time seems fine to me.

I would be fine with character switching over each level.

Other than that, another good idea would be controlling rayman and murfy with the gamepad at the same time.

Thanks for this, nice to know the normal levels will have switch gameplay.

I think the music levels will be murfy only, since pressing A/touching the screen, hitting a note, switching back and then jumping will be uber hard

You just explained why the musical levels should switchable between Rayman and Murphy.

"- In the single player mode a good portion of the game will be played as Murfy. Rayman will be AI controlled and Murfy (the player) is his protector
- There will still be some "classic" levels where you can play as Rayman in single player"

Thanks for The help.
I thought about it and playing Murphy could be pretty fun and I played the demo of Rayman origins and it's the best demo ever.
Rayman Legends is going to be Legendary.
