Thats a little harsh 2k2K has said that they want nothing to do with putting their hardcore franchises on the Wii U until it proves itself. We can always hope though.

^ exactly. And even still, I doubt this game will reach Wii U as the franchise has never been on a Nintendo console before.
Actually they had GTA china town wars (or smth like) on ds. I had it cos remind me GTA and GTA 2, but maybe it doesn't count...

I disagree.^ exactly. And even still, I doubt this game will reach Wii U as the franchise has never been on a Nintendo console before.
People just don't associate it with Nintendo.
They're tried before, GTA Advance, GTA:CW
People associate GTA with Sony, because it was exclusive to PS1 and PS2 for a long time.
I agree with the post you agreed with though. My reason is that third parties will see sales numbers and attribute it to something else.
But I'm being butthurt, like the Wii situation was:
Wiimake didn't sell: Nintendo fans don't like hardcore games
Wiimake does sell: Nintendo fans love remakes.

Yeah I know that game. I loved it so damn much, one of the best DS games in its entire lifetime IMO! But it didn't sell well, so eventually they ported it to PSP and iOS. And even then, it didn't make enough money.

So it proves the game wasn't well received, but it wasn't gta5.
I'm not sure if we will see gta5 on Wii U but surely itd sell enough to make profit imo

Its not about Nintendo proving that there is a market for Wii U. Its about the consumers proving that there is a market for third-party core-titles on Wii U.I think the U has allready proved itself as it has allready sold out in pre orders
