Whilst watching the ZombiU trailer from the conference a few days ago I noticed the blackening of the veins which seems to be the main symptom of turning.

I hope this is not the case as it would seem like a pointless fight, unless you can neutralize it when you get back to the safe house which then would put an extra bit of pressure on the gamer. It might be better to be featured on the hard mode thingy that you unlock afterwards.

In some ways it is a pointless fight as each time you die you restart as a new unturned character in the game but you can kill your previous character to get all your stuff back who is turned into a zombie. I like the idea of one character one life as you complete the game. It presents the challenge that as you get good at the game you can attempt to go through all levels with the same character, i.e. not die. This is the sort of game I normally love but clearly no one should buy without seeing reviews or playing a demo. It may look good but it doesn't mean it plays well. I hope demos are available to download for such games.

And? What exactly is the point of your post?

I can't see the trailer but this idea of becomming a different character when you die does seem a little off. I guess instead of character upgrades the upgrades will be weapon based so that you can go retrieve them when you die?

The character upgrades skills as well, but you can't get those back. When you die they're gone. Pretty punishing but I like a good challenge.

This game os going to be cool. Kinda like left4dead but better.
Also i can see them addind a dlc for time. Your biten and only have so much time to make it to a loctaion to get a shot to slow/stop the infection. That would be great.
Either way im getting this game. Might have to wait till as tho since im over my gaming budget this year and i gotta start xmas shopping.

This trailer was pretty cool, one of the best I've seen for the game so far. I'm so hyped for this game. I really hope it's as hard as they say and not too short.
