Am I the only one who is surprised by the Wii U selling out so fast!? I mean have you seen one ad or commercial? The Wii didn't explode until everyone started seeing all the commercials with familys playing Wii Sports and all that. All I gots to say is wow the future of the Wii U is looking pretty good with all the support from fans. Let's hope the big third party devs and publishers realize and put there games on the superior console!

I am indeed surprised that they are selling out everywhere so quickly. But we do not know how many units are at each retailer. It could be a matter of 20 at each retailer (which I know is not true). I just hope they replenish their stock so I can get a Wii U this holiday.

Yeah I hope so too! I haven't got a pre-order down yet so I might be outta luck till after release and I just hope they can ship enough for all the people wanting one this holiday.I am indeed surprised that they are selling out everywhere so quickly. I have a feeling that the WiiU is going to be much more available to us than the Wii was. So I think they will be supplying a lot of consoles this time around.

Just because its been selling out doesn't mean anything. We don't know how many units were allocated to each retailer and each store. Nintendo may be being cautious this time around with their initial supply. Also the basic unit is still available in a lot of places. It's only the premium edition and the limited edition Zombie U bundle here in the EU that's been selling out.
