The original balance board is compatible, and there hasn't been a release date confirmed yet, all that was said is that it will release during the launch window. Also no confirmation on any bundles yet, i'm guessing we will know more as we get closer to the release.

Wii Fit was a brilliant success among the casuals. I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't come with the balance board. I still think it will.

I think it will be sold both bundled with a board and without one for people who bought the original. But yeah, no info on it yet unfortunately.
