I'd definitely be interested to see what demos they'll have. Would love to see if Nintendo Land would be worth it, as I have 1 of both versions pre-ordered at Gamestop and have been trying to decide which one to keep.

Well that will be around 1month before launch. I think ill probably just wait. I didnt demo the ps vita, so probably wont demo the wii u. Ill stop into my gamestop to finish paying the preorders. If they have one ill size it up. But im not going to stand there and play a game for 10mins.

Some demo units will not be up and running until the 22nd. GameStop is also getting demo units shortly after Best Buy.

It was $40 for the general admission ticket not $100. And you were not only able to try Wii U but also many other games unless you are not interested in other things except Wii U then it's a different story. But then $40 to try Wii U only is still worth it imho.

Not only I was able to try many games and also Wii U, but I also met Charles Martinet.

dude that won't kill your hype, when i tried it at euro gamer i just got more hyped

In my opinion, it wouldn't exactly kill the hype. But one of the most special moments of getting a new gaming console is cracking open that big box and getting your hands on that console/controller you've seen for months. But finally it's yours, and you're ready to delve into it full force! But playing it in a store before the launch kind of ruins that special moment on launch day. But that's just me, I'm holding myself back whether I like it or not! If anything, the wait can expand the hype for me.

But at the same time, I don't want to get there and be dissapointed when I don't find a wii U.

Im sure there will be a few demo kiosks in Australia shortly after launch, hopefully they will try to get them out in stores as fast as possible so we can all get a taste of the WiiU before Christmas.
