Yeah sony has been on a dwonward spiral for a couple years now irember there tvs used to be the best but not any more even when I go to electronic stores the employess are pushing the lg flat screens and samsung flat screens over the sonys cause the quality is not as good on the sony tvs as they were in the past.

Yeah its no fun when you lose your job and the econmy is like crap not a lot of jobs out there. I been out of work for close to a year its tuff had a job interview with lowes but iguess they went with someone else.

Wait, Sony actually ANNOUNCED this? Seems like scapegoating to me. Laying off people is not going to help Sony's current case of poor decision-making. They would wait before the holidays to do that to someone and their family.

It happens I got carp canned last nov 3 cause I was told the ydid not like my attitude and I was at my last job for 6 and a half years never late never called out it happens.

As much as I like Sony's products and their games, the corporate geniuses running that company have been asking for this for the past decade of poor business decisions, many of which work against the customer's interests. No, I don't care to discuss what anti-consumer decisions were, but as a result, people are buying Samsungs instead of Bravias, MacBooks instead of Vaios, iPods instead of Walkmans, hell Xbox instead of PlayStation. They have lost most of their momentum in pretty much all the markets they do business with.

Anyway, to whoever gets their job at Sony axed, best wishes to you for finding work somewhere better.
