2D would be nice. But I'd rather have something more like Donkey Kong 64.

DKCR is one of my favorite games ever; I'm buying a Wii U partly for the hope of a sequel. Hopefully EAD Tokyo makes it!

I would deff take either one but I think to show off how great this system is a squeal to the N64 game is needed. I was a little shocked that WII didn't have anything like this.

if they give us another 2D one I'm gonna be ticked, I want a 3D one!!! 2D games should ended with the SNeS era, other than Mario none of them are that grand. Plus DK64 was one of my most favorite of all time! I would love to see a sequel. Or a sm3dl type game with country put into 3d.Anyone think we could see a brand new HD Donkey Kong game on the U? Maybe that's what Retro Studios is working on? A sequel of DK64 or remake? *faints*

I agree with this, i was unhappy when Rare was sold to Microsoft so there was a copyright claim on both Microsoft and Nintendo which made them not be able to put this game back on the Marketplaces. This game would be a great idea if they made a sequel though.

That doesn't make much sense since Nintendo owns the Donkey Kong franchise. They put Rare's DKC Trilogy on the VC.
