What's up all....

So, just confirming what the latest buzz has been.....yesterday I also got my hands on testing the gamepad out at GameStop....holy balls.....the thing looks and feels amazing....unbelievably light for the size, and it doesn't feel like ur holding a tablet or iPad, It still feels like ur holding a controller.....blown away by it....

Newho, my question is this: for backwards compatible games, aka galaxy, twilight princess etc....will you're able to play them on wii u with the gamepad? And use the gamepad for any motion detection that might be needed?

i think not, youll need the wiimote/CCP, i dont know if the wii u pro controler can work as the CCP but im pretty sure u cant play these games with the Upad because those are games made to make an intensive use of the wiimote

See, what I'm thinking is that....at least in galaxy.....haven't playednzelda yet...but in galaxy the extent of the motion controls so far have been pointing at the screen, or shaking it, both which can easily be done on the gamepad.....who knows lol..

Pretty sure if a game required both a Wiimote and nunchuck then it wasn't compatible with the classic controller, especially if they both individually did something if you shook/pointed/moved etc either one. With that we can gather that we probably can't play any Wii Zelda games using the GamePad.

Well there was a rumor that all Wii Games will be playable on the GamePad's screen and use all the accessory's because of the GamePads sensor bar?
I am the foot. I do not like you. You smother me with socks and shoes, then step on me thousands of times a day.

We foot will rebel one day.

No i dont believe you would ever be able to. The wii games dont understand the gamepad. Its not in there coding.
Plus nintendo already said no. the pro controller and gamepad cant be used for wii games.

Heard that too. And there is a video of a golf game where you put the game pad on the floor and use a remote to swing above it.
