i'll be keeping my ps3 along side the Wii U - i want black ops2, which comes out on tuesday for PS3...i'm thinking i'll wait for the Wii U version though...not that i've seen much U footage of it though..

whats everyone else's thoughts on that?

in my opinion you should wait for the wii u review, the wii u version is pretty much confirmed to have DLCs, it looks awesome in graphics wise, it has the Off-tv feature also for single and multiplayer (not only for the split screen thing, also when you play online alone on the wii u) which is a huge addition to the game if needed, we are not sure about the nuketown map but atleast for me is not a big loss to not have a single map, there is lots of them, it may be the most famous but is kind of a small map that only implies high number of kills and 0 strategy.

( the people seems happy claiming that with an air strike on nuketown 2025 you get atleast 10 kills lol )

and for the wait i think you are not gonna die to wait 5 days or 15 if you live in Eu, im waiting also for the AC 3 version which is a good thing due to the huge number of bugs in that game to be patched

Pre ordered this a bit peeved about no nuketown but the feature that interests me most is the dual screen co op online.I have an Xbox but will wait for the Wii U version on the 30th.I would and am waiting

I think some of the features on wii u makes it worth waiting few days for, i ordered on wii u as got it for £33 from zavvi (that price no longer available) im not biggest cod fan so dnt mind not playing online with mates who all getting it on 360, i just play halo 4 with them instead. But if you got mates with ps3 you may want get it on that

im getting on ps3 for the hardened edition and nuketown zombies as well as the 2025 map, but after launch ill buy a pre owned copy because the wii u version looks awesome.

I think the lacking content will be added via DLC at a later time anyways. I personally will be buying all multiplat games on Wii U.

I think the wii U is going to takeover my PS3 more I think of it. If that game pad can play full games without the TV on that's a biggy in my house

Not when they are excluding features that are on other platforms is that decision easy to make.tbh only for the dual screen thingie I would be getting it on 360.

I've been thinking about this quite a bit since I own the other 2 systems and will have a Wii U. At first, I wanted to know if the Wii U version would support 3D, but lately I'm really into the fact that you can play these games on the gamepad without the tv on. I do have small kids, and while we have multiple tvs, it still seems like a great option and convenience to have.

So, when I do get Black Ops (would like to wait for a sale, maybe $45 or $50), I will probably be getting it on the Wii U for that reason primarily.

I got it on the ps3 simply because there is a bigger fan base and i will probably play it online more then anything.
The wii u ver. looks on point with the ps3, i do like that the wii u you can play it from the gamepad but i still outed for the ps3 ver.

We will see what happens tho i may end up buying the wii u ver down the line lol.

i would go for wii U because of the controller, also the amount of people online will be plenty, i can still get into any type of game instantly on cod4 for ps3

Only reason I'm getting the PS3 version is because I have the Care Package pre-ordered, otherwise I'd get the Wii U version (IF IT ALSO CAME WITH THE CARE PACKAGE)!!!!

On a related note, I just watched last night the hour-long "making of" for this game and it's probably the most excited I've been for a COD game.
