I noticed other people know the percentages. But I don't.

Also, food for thought: Someone on neogaf claims the update is 0.88GB, but it takes forever because of Nintendo throttling their online.

That sucks if they really do throttle it. D: I have good internet so I was hoping on just looking through the manuals while waiting. 1GB would be downloaded in...eight minutes?

there is a percentage. Once the first bar is finished filling up, you will then get the update bar with the percentage. Second bar goes pretty fast. I was finished with mine in about 45 minutes total for everything

I keep getting error messages while trying to update. The update started once but after 5 minutes it said I was unable to connect to the server.

Try when the server isn't so busy. Maybe middle of the night or a couple of days.

Oh damn I know that feeling when you're just hoping for it to work... I remember my copy of Super Smash took a really long time to load... Don't worry, it'll be fine.

When I turn on my Wii U, on the 30th :(, do I HAVE to download the update? I'd really like the update, but if I could I'd prefer to play games all day then update a night. Would it work?

I have 60mb constant but it really depends on what the server load is, if everyone is downloading the update at the same time it could be crawling along for ages.

I have the day off work though :D

hell i got 6mbps internet and 45mins got me to half way.
Its either 3-4gb or since everyone is updating its slowing down there sever.
I would of got a ip traffic program and monitor the amount to get an est of how big the update is but ahhh. I still have sleep and sick so i didnt brother.
