Hello World!

The name is Victor and when it comes to my close friends I'm probably the only one that still plays video games so I decided to join this community in hopes of finding others who share my same interest in video games.

I purchased my Wii U this morning at Sears (they had 2). It is a deluxe version and I also bought Super Mario Bros U. It is currently "Downloading data for update..." so I have not played as of this post.

I hope to be an active member.

I've attached a picture of my current view.

Thanks for the heads up. That must be the reason they emphasize setting up your system with the gamepad plugged in or wait until its fully charged. I opted for waiting until it got fully charged :D

No problem dude, here are a list of problems so far:

Won't connect to internet

Won't read discs

GamePad Won't connect to Wii U

GamePad burns the image of the last played game to the screen (seems very rare at the moment)

Thankfuly a lot of these cases are very isolated at the moment noone knows how big this problem so far, so play well and keep safe :D

>.< Would suck to have any of these issues happen. Will definitely post any issues I come across. So far so good.

Thanks! I just starting setting up my system. I'm currently updating NETFLIX. Definitely a long process going on. I want to check everything out before playing the first game. I'm in love with this system already. Although the time it takes to go from one thing to another is really bothering me.

I am new to the forum myself....I am a die hard nintendo fan, but sad to say its been a long time since I have played console games. Sadly I was bitten by the World of Warcraft bug, but I have officially retired from it and decided its time to bring out the nintendo consoles out. I picked up my Wii U today at walmart here in Kodiak..its rather amusing I never had to stand in line, being so remote here in Kodiak not many people knew what the WIi U was...but to be safe I reserved it when it finally was able to reserve here in Kodkak, Alaska. I went there this afternoon to see if even would make it here on launch day....much to my suprise it was. Anyways, Ecorsbie720 is my nintendo network......Look forward to the forums!!!
